The “7 Chapels Pilgrimage” route is composed of a hilly, themed walking trail and seven rural trails , five of which link with the Camino de Romania pilgrimage route,

The hilly route is designed to go from one end to the other, from north to south or from south to north the 6 chapels, on the route there are other landmarks(St. Mary the Virgin Grotto in Luizi Calugara, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer or Rastignitu in the village of Sarata). The route is designed to take the pilgrim through the beautiful landscapes offered by the hills, with views over the city of Bacău and neighbouring villages, the Siret Valley, offering the pilgrim the security of being close to inhabited areas. Also, for those who do not want to cover the route from one end to the other in a single day, you can stop in Sărata Băi, where you can stay and also use the baths which are right on the route. It is a route that is backed by the experience of hundreds of kilometres travelled on the hills in the area, following dozens of individual activities or under the Runscape and Via Bacovia logos.

Rural trails are shorter routes designed to make it easier for visitors to get to the chapels by easier, hip-hop-style, more accessible routes.
